I borrowed a backpack from a friend and took the baby hiking while her big sister was at school. The weather was beautiful so we went to a nearby state park and walked through the leaves. They have several nice hiking trails and we even saw a few deer!
The hiking made her quite relaxed and she spent most of the time snuggled up to me.
When we were almost at the end of the hike, I let N. get down to stomp through the leaves herself. She found a big stick—and spoke softly.
