What does the little K. have in that case there?  Could it be?It looks like it…  It is!A sweet little K-sized violin!“Put the camera down, Mama—I’m focusing here.”

It was not my intent to start her on violin at a young age (or ever at all—perhaps the French horn or ’cello instead), but she’s actually been pretty interested in the violin, so I figured it would be nice for her to have one to try.  And thanks, Grandma and Grandpa L. for purchasing her first foray into the string world for her!

Her attention span is about what you might assume a young three-year-old’s would be; we work with it.

But her bow wrist/hand looks like it has some great potential!

If the violin doesn’t work out, or if the money fairy comes by, we’re totally going back and buying this adorable K-sized string bass!If I had an extra three grand, this would absolutely have come home with us!
