Cupcake for Cupcake

“Will someone please tell me why my plate is so far away from me?”Sweet Baby Girl is One!Investigating the new food in front of her.  She was only cautious for a moment.And took a bite quickly.Then double-fisted it, alternating bites.She checked the catch tray on her bib to get any crumbs she might have missed.I am so pleased that there was no smashing (I think she appreciated the cake—I mean, look how clean that plate is).  Her sister didn’t smash her cake on her first birthday either.  Thank goodness.  When she finished the cupcake, she made her sign for “more” and asked politely for seconds.  Sorry, baby girl, maybe next year.
