K. started her first team sport—soccer—last weekend. I don’t have huge hopes that she’ll be a professional soccer player (though she did cry every time she fell down), but I wanted her to have the experience of listening to a coach and learning something new and athletic. This was their second practice. I didn’t take many pictures last week because it took some parental involvement to get her out on the field. This week, though, she did much better and had a better idea of what was going on. Regardless of her skill level, she sure looked cute out there!
Rehydrating. She’s got her game face on.
With her friend, A, who hung out with her for a little while.

Glad to know I wasn't the only mom who sent their daughter to soccer with a hairbow. Josh thinks Hannah needs to leave the hairbow at home because it caused her to get tangled in the goal net. I think that is the price we pay for cuteness - the bow matches her team shirt PERFECTLY and she SHALL wear it, says I! Anyway, I'm glad to have ammo now to bolster my argument "But J lets K wear a hairbow to soccer" etc. :)
