Dad and Mom put together a playset for the girls in our backyard, and K. had a great time trying out everything. Here is Dad, just after finishing the last touches. For the record, Mom helped quite a bit too (and our super neighbor came over and helped as well! Thank you!). And Mom and Dad were able to communicate and put the playset together without any marriage-ending arguments.

K. climbing up the steps. One of the appealing things about this particular model is that it has several levels joined with sets of two steps, so kids of younger ages can join in the playing as well.

Spying on the neighbors. Don’t worry, neighbors—there is no magnification in the telescope (but don’t tell K. that—she loves looking through it).

“Okay, I totally cannot climb up the rock wall. Humpf.”
