Treats Galore

I took the girls trick or treating on Sunday evening, and they actually had a good time!  Our wonderful neighbors were kind enough to let us tag along with them, and I think K. had a much better time having them with her.  She was able to figure out what to do and had fun running along with them, as opposed to just having Mom shadow behind her.  I still stood in the driveways and shouted, “be sure to say ‘thank you!’”She had such a good time with her friends.  N. was stuck in the stroller and had fun, but was literally straining to try to get out and run with the big kids.  She wanted to much to follow them.It was funny as K. first saw kids in full costumes (those involving face masks).  She just stared.  Some of the costumes were pretty creepy, but she soldiered through it…and much better than I thought she would.  I guess nothing would stand between her and candy.Checking out the loot with Dad.  We didn’t have N. fill a bag, but she looked on with interest as K. dumped hers out.And she grabbed a lollypop…but didn’t unwrap it, so her sugar consumption was minimal.Oh, the girls were so tuckered out after an evening of fun!
