I've been especially crafty-feeling recently and have delved into the world of felt. I got an idea online to make felt play food and hair clips (unrelated: not hair clips that look like play food). Here are photos of some of my recent creations:
The bacon. Eggs and toast to follow.
K's first felt hairclip. It is light pink and supposed to match a certain shirt, but goes with most things (except, ironically, the shirt she's wearing in the photo).
The apple hairclip. Eventually I'll have a photo of the shirt this matches. P.S. The Gap has a line of clothing right now that also matches this clip. K. wears a size 18 or 24 months. I'm just sayin'.
Blue flower, made to go with blue flowered shirt. Hopefully that much is obvious from the photo.
Owl clip. There's a small owl to the upper right side of the tree on the purple shirt. That, and I'm currently obsessed with owls for no apparent reason.
So there you have it. And I'm knitting a dishcloth that one of you might receive for Chrismas, if the economy continues its downfall.
