Boiler Cutie

Because we did it to her sister also, we dressed N. up in some college-themed clothing.  If for some reason she ends up going to the school noted, these pictures will be cute.  If she ends up going to a rival school, the pictures will be even funnier.  Who knows what colleges the girls will end up going to (translation: they’ll go to wherever is the least expensive for us), but these pictures are cute regardless.DSC_10086

Such a sweet face!  But noted that gold looks even worse on her than it does her sister, so we’ll definitely need to keep college shopping.DSC_10096.

And the sisters hung out a bit.  I couldn’t get N. to prop herself up on her elbows (maybe in a year or two)—and every time she’s in that position she starts crawling.DSC_10081.DSC_10083.DSC_10084.

And more of sweet N!DSC_10095edited.DSC_10098.

Let’s Go Fly A Kite

K. and Dad took advantage of the lovely weather this past week and Dad showed K. how to fly a kite.  She got one for her birthday, but every time I thought to use it, the wind was still.  It was a fun Daddy-daughter activity as Dad has a good understanding of where a kite needs to be to fly and how to get it off the ground.DSC_0727. More Auntie Antics

K. was playing with Aunt J. and Grandma at the gazebo in the back yard.  Since it has a door K. can easily open and close, she had a great time pretending it was her house.  We would knock, she would invite us in, and then she’d ask us to leave again.

“Come on in!”DSC_0560. “Go out.”DSC_0563. DSC_0570. And once there was a moment that she let all of us inside her house, we attempted more group photos.  With limited success.DSC_0586.DSC_0593. DSC_0594. DSC_0596.

Auntie Antics

An attempt for cuteness with Aunt J.  We never did get all three smiling (or looking at the camera) at once, but we’ll take what we can get.  They’re still beautiful gals!DSC_0630. DSC_0634. DSC_0640. DSC_0644.

Sipping Away

While we were visiting them, Grandma taught N. how to use a cup with a straw.  As you can see from her expressions, N. is really grateful to Grandma for this, and thrilled with being able to drink from a cup!

Falling Leaves

While visiting Grandma and Grandpa last week, K. went for a walk with Grandma and Aunt J. to find some nice leaves for decoration.  K. really had a good time looking for leaves.DSC_0601. DSC_0604. DSC_0605. After the walk, the girls went in the back yard and played in some fallen leaves.  K had so much fun and asked the next day to go out and play more.DSC_0618.DSC_0620.

Talking Turkey

101_4017.  I made these skirts for the girls (and put more specifics when I blogged about it here), and was excited for their fall debut.  I just love loads of ruffles on the girls!101_4021. 101_4024.101_4020.
